The existing tiled roof structure was being ravaged by monkeys.
Therefore, a concrete slab was cast over a fresh stone arcade incorporating a car porch and a verandah. Columns from the verandah were reused to create niches and existing timber from the roof was used to cover the elevated sun room that overlooks the area around.
