A modern house designed for a family that aspired to live in an old Goan house but couldn't afford to buy one. The design thus incorporates features from the Goan vernacular, like a verandah with wooden rafters and pillars, seats etc.
Initially conceived with a double height courtyard, the atrium is now covered with a skylight and complimented with traditional Goan furniture.
